Algiers, SANA – Syrian students in Algeria on Friday expressed their faith in the ability of their homeland to overcome terrorism and their resolve to spare no effort in conveying the reality of what is happening in Syria to the public opinion.
During the activities of their annual meeting, the students stressed their commitment to the principles founded by the late President Hafez al-Assad and the achievements accomplished under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
During the event, Syria’s Ambassador in Algeria Numair Wahib made a presentation on the global conspiracy against Syria, adding that major international players and regional countries have used huge political, military, financial, and media resources with the aim of fragmenting the Syrian society and undermining the state’s institutions.
Wahib said Syria preserved its national unity and was able, under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, to unmask this plot and expose it before the international public opinion, highlighting that the vision of the Syrian government was true since the beginning of the crisis.
The students said that the sacrifices made by the Syrian Arab Army constitute the cornerstone in defending the country against terrorism and fragmentation attempts, reiterating their support to their leadership and army and expressing their faith in the ability of Syria to achieve total victory over terrorism.
