Syrian- Iranian talks to enhance cooperation in education and scientific research domains

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Higher Education, Bassam Ibrahim, discussed on Monday with Iranian Ambassador in Damascus, Mahdi Sobhani, joint cooperation between Syria and Iran in the field of education and scientific research.

During the meeting, Minister Ibrahim referred to the importance of activating the executive program signed between the two sides,  holding seminars, conferences as well as exchanging experiences, scientific visits and joint scientific researches between Iranian-Syrian universities.

For his part, the Iranian ambassador reiterated his country’s support to Syria, pointing out to the necessity of enhancing knowledge and scientific cooperation between both countries to establish joint action in scientific specialties and form joint committees for the mutual interests.
