Al-Dirbasiya power plant goes out of service due to ground cables’ malfunction

Hasaka, SANA- SANA- A malfunction in the ground cables inside Al-Dirbasiya power plant caused the plant to go out of service and which causes the stop of feeding Allouk water plant by electricity and thus to go out of service.

Director of Hasaka Electricity Department Eng. Anwar Okla told SANA reporter that a malfunction in the ground cables inside Al-Dirbasiya power plant caused the plant to go out of service and stop pumping of Allouk wells which are fed by the electricity produced by the plant, indicating that the electricity workshops are working on repairing the cables so that they will be put into service soon.

For his part, Director of the Water Establishment Mahmoud al-Okla told SANA reporter in a similar statement that the stoppage of the plant will cause to delay the pumping of towards al-Hemma tanks and then the center of the city which suffers from the cut of water for the 16 day

The stoppage of the plant causes to delay the pumping of water for more than 12 hours, taking into consideration the weakness of pumping water resulted from the Turkish occupation’s mercenaries attack against the water line and their use of water for irrigating the plants in the area, al-Okla went on to say.
