Aleppo, SANA- Syria and Russia has discussed means to boost cooperation in the fields of economy, agriculture and culture, civil development, education, healthcare, tourism, science and technology.
That came during a meeting held Tuesday in Aleppo between Hussein Ahmad Diyab, Governor of Aleppo and a governmental delegation from Yaroslavl city headed by Dmitry Sablin, member of the State Duma, within activities of the Syrian-Russian Joint Meeting to Follow up Work of International Conference on the return of Syrian refugees.
Both sides discussed the memorandum of joint cooperation agreement in the aforementioned fields, based on the standing agreements inked by the two countries, including the long-term program of the governmental agreement on trade and technical cooperation signed in the year 2000.
Diyab hailed the outstanding relations between the two friendly countries, underlining the necessity of enhancing them in a way that would serve the two countries’ people
Sablin, for his part, said that the joint cooperation comes within the context of the deep-rooted and historic Syrian-Russian relations, stressing the importance of signing more agreements in the economic, cultural and social fields
