Provinces, SANA – Tens of members of terrorist organizations, including foreigners of Saudi, Palestinian, Tunisian and Libyan nationalities, were killed during army operations in various areas.
Idleb
In the northern province of Idleb, SANA reporter quoted Thursday a military source as saying that army units continued concentrated hits against dens of the terrorist organizations of Jabhat al-Nusra, Ahrar al-Sham Islamic
Movement and the Islamic Front among others in the countryside.
The source confirmed that an army unit killed 24 terrorists, including a Saudi nicknamed Abu Muthana and a Palestinian named Huzaima al-Falastini, in the surrounding of Batenti town, 30 km north of Idleb city. Four of the
terrorists’ vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were destroyed.
Some 9 more terrorists were killed in Ariha area, with the army destroying two of their vehicles there. The terrorist Zuheir Rashid Ajjan was identified among the killed, according to the source.
Near Kinsafra in Jabal al-Zawieh, 25 km south of Idleb city, an army unit fully destroyed a den for leaders within Jabhat al-Nusra, killing many of them who included Tunisians and Libyans. The Libyan who was nicknamed Abo
Mohammad Mika was among those.
Units of the army crushed takfiri terrorist organizations’ positions and gatherings, killing a number of their members, in the areas surrounding al-Nairab, Abu al-Duhour, Hmeimat al-Dayer and al-Mjass towns in the countryside.
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA that the army destroyed dens of terrorists and a number of vehicles in Ain al-Bardeh and al-Mouzrah in Idleb countryside, killing several terrorists and injuring many others.
Daraa
In southern Syria, specifically in the province of Daraa, the army inflicted heavy losses upon the terrorists after targeting their dens in Zemrin town in al-Sanamein city in the northern countryside of Daraa, according to a
military source.
A terrorist nicknamed Abo Nabout was identified among the dead.
An army unit killed numbers of terrorists and destroyed several vehicles, some of them equipped with heavy machine guns, in Rasm al-Zahr in al-Lajat area, north of Daraa.
In the surrounding of the bridge of Um al-Mayazen village, 10 km away from central Daraa city, a number of terrorists were killed during army operations that targeted their gatherings.
More members of the terrorist organizations were reported killed and others wounded as the army units directly hit their gatherings and positions in the surrounding of al-Sad road in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa.
Other army units killed many terrorists, injured others and destroyed a vehicle in al-Bajabja neighborhood and around the old Customs building in Daraa al-Balad in the city of Daraa.
Sweida
In the southern province of Sweida, the army’s intensive operations against the gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra resulted in the killing of many terrorists and the destruction of a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun in Sayda al-Golan in al-Khishniyeh area, 12 km away from central al-Quneitra city.
Homs
Army units continued their operations against terrorist organizations in Homs, killing large numbers of their members and razing their hideouts in Talbiseh and Rahhoum village in the countryside of the central province.
A unit of the army and armed forces killed 15 terrorists in Talbiseh city , among them a sniper nicknamed al-Haj Suleiman al-Qasheh and a leader of one of the armed terrorist groups named Khaled al-Shami.
Another army unit clashed with terrorists who attempted to attack the National Hospital of al-Houleh, 27 km north west of Homs city, leaving several of them dead and wounded.
In the northern countryside of the province, the army killed many terrorists who were positioned near al-Mahmoud Mosque in al-Rastan city.
A number of terrorists were also killed, while many others were injured in Rajm al-Qasr, 70 km east of Homs.
Meanwhile, the continued military operations against dens of terrorists from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) organization resulted in the killing and injury of large numbers of them in Rahhoum village in the eastern countryside of Homs.
