Damascus, SANA – Nine civilians were injured on Sunday in a terrorist mortar attack on al-Qasa’a neighborhood in Damascus.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that two mortar shells landed in Adib Isaac Street in the neighborhood, causing injuries of varying severity to nine civilians who were rushed to the French Hospitals and the Red Crescent Hospital.
A third mortar round fell in the vicinity of Burj al-Rous area, causing material damage to a number of shops and cars.
Terrorists also targeted Harsta residential suburb in Damascus Countryside with a mortar shell which caused material damage to private properties.
A source at the Police Command told SANA that a mortar shell landed near al-Marefa School in Block B3 of the suburb, which is located north of Damascus city, causing material damage in shops and cars in the area.
