Syrian citizens attacked in Lebanon while they were heading to Syrian Embassy to cast their votes in presidential elections

Beirut, SANA- Groups of Lebanese people on Thursday attacked Syrian citizens residing in Lebanon while they were heading to the Syrian Embassy in Beirut to cast their votes in the presidential elections, smashing car windows and blocking roads against citizens.

SANA reporter quoted reliable sources as saying that the Syrians have been attacked in several areas in Lebanon and roads were blocked, causing the injury of dozens of Syrian citizens.

The reporter pointed out that these attacks did not dissuade Syrians residing in Lebanon from heading to the headquarters of the Embassy to cast their votes in the presidential elections.

Since Thursday dawn, the Syrian Embassy in Beirut has witnessed huge crowd by the Syrians residing in Lebanon to participate in the presidential elections.
