Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will slightly rise, yet remain from 2 to 4 degrees below average as the country is affected by high air pressure accompanied by northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be very cold at night over the mountains, warning against formation of ice, frost, and fog in most regions.
The wind will be northwesterly of low to moderate speed, particularly over northeasterly regions, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:
Damascus 10/2, Daraa 10/2, Homs 10/-1, Hasaka 10/-3, Tartous 15/6, Aleppo 10/-1, Deir Ezzor 10/-2.
Snow thickness approached 15 cm in Sweida,15cm, in Erneh and 10 cm in Sergaya.
