Damascus, SANA-Under the title “Golan is back by determination of people and leader”, the National Union for Syria Students held Sunday a photo exhibition including a group of pictures which reflect the marvelous environment of the occupied Syrian Golan.
Rector of Damascus University Hassan al-Kurdi told SANA that the aim of this event is to remind the students about the anniversary of annexing the Golan to the Israeli occupation entity, saying the University supports students of the Golan through facilitating their permission to the Syrian universities, particularly faculties of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy.
“The exhibition was held to show the Syrian students’ support to the Golan families and to salute heroes of the Syrian army,” Omar Jibae’e, Head of Culture and Media office at the Union said.
He added the exhibition includes 200 pictures that display historic features and places in the Syrian Golan and others sabotaged by the Israeli occupation forces in 1967.
