Temperatures around average, frost expected over the mountains

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will slightly drop to become around average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy, and there will be an opportunity for showers over separate areas across the country, while the weather will be cold at night, warning against frost over the mountains and inlands.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed, while the sea waves will be low to moderate in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 6/15, Daraa 5/15, Homs 4/12, Hasaka 3/12, Tartous 11/18, Aleppo 7/13, Idleb 4/12
