Czech website publishes expanded photo report on tourist, archeological sites in Syria

Prague, SANA – Czech A60 website has posted an expanded photo report about the most important tourist attractions in Syria and the destruction inflicted on some archeological places at the hands of terrorist organizations.

The report included 77 color photos captured in Damascus, Hama, Krak des Chevaliers, Maaloula, Palmyra, Ugarit, Sednayah, and Citadel of Saladin.

Helena Preshellova, writer of the report, talked about her positive impression during her visit to Syria and about the history and beauty of Palmyra, Damascus, Maaloula, Ugarit, Sednayah, and Citadel of Saladin.

She expressed regret that some of these wonderful antiquities, particularly in Palmyra have been destroyed at the hands of terrorists.

 She also talked about Christmas celebrations in Syria, indicating that they are being held in a traditional manner, taking into consideration the spiritual dimensions and non-submission to the temptations of marketing and propaganda, as is the case in Europe.
