Damascus, SANA – Actor Issam Ibaji passed away on Monday afternoon at the age of 75 after suffering a heart attack.
The actor was laid to rest at Zein el-Abideen cemetery in Damascus.
Ibaji was born in al-Muhajirin neighborhood in Damascus, and began his acting career by joining the National Theatre Troupe in the 1960s. His career spanned the theatre, television, and movies.
