Damascus, SANA – Undaunted by the immense challenges spawned by the ongoing circumstances, Syria’s workers stress they are now resolved more than any time before to continue performing their national task, notwithstanding its enormity.
The major pressing aspects of this task is “to mobilize efforts, continue work and resume and increase production in all sectors.
In the health sector and at a time when the world’s workers celebrate the International Workers’ Day, healthcare workers in Syria celebrate this day immersed into the fulfillment of their human and global task of facing the pandemic of the novel Coronavirus.
Doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians and others of different specialties, spare no efforts to guarantee health security for all, despite the risks of work in times of crisis and epidemics.
Health workers in Syria complete their national role, which they had performed with full and high sense of responsibility and sacrifice during the years of the terrorist war on Syria.
Today, we find them on the front lines to confront the Coronavirus and protect public health.
In other sectors, workers are on high alert and working tirelessly to bring to life all production facilities that have been stricken by terrorism.
It is important to mention that thousands of workers, both in the private and state sectors, lost their lives in their workplaces at the hands of the takfiri and terrorist forces.
The government has given great attention to the workforce before and throughout the crisis that Syria has been exposed to.
Nowadays, Syria’s workers are demanded to exert every possible effort to help overcoming the horrendous humanitarian, economic and social challenges posed by the unfair unilateral economic measures imposed on the country.
