Damascus, SANA- The Interior Ministry requested affiliated bodies to do Coronavirus test for seized Syrian citizens who entered Syria from Lebanon via illegal crossings.

The Ministry said in a statement on Thursday that these citizens must undergo a 14-day home quarantine to ensure that they are not infected with COVID-19.

The Ministry indicated that this comes in the framework of precautionary measures adopted by the government to confront Coronavirus (COVID 19) to ensure public health in Syria and provide the highest general safety standards for citizens and residents due to the health risks carried by the virus.
