Moscow, SANA – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov demanded that all countries abide by the international resolutions, particularly those calling for shutting down the sources of funding and arming of the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
Addressing a press conference following a meeting with his Saudi counterpart Saud al-Faisal in Moscow, Lavrov referred to the Security Council’s resolutions 2170 and 2178 of which he said Russia has been part and by which all countries agreed to halt providing funds and support to any terrorist organizations in the Middle East and North Africa.
He stressed the need that all operations of importing and selling oil from the areas under the control of terrorists be halted along with any related terrorist acts in compliance with the Security Council’s resolutions.
