Tehran, SANA_ Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdullahian criticized the US double standard policy towards combating the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq ISIS terrorist organization and forming an international coalition under this pretext at a time when it kept silent on terrorists acts in Syria and backed them frankly.
In a statement to Iranian TV, Abdullahian said that the United States and the West are combating terrorism and the ISIS for their own interests, stressing that while terrorists carried out their brutal acts in Syria, the United States remained silent on their crime and provided them with all forms of support.
“The majority of terrorists in the region are Americans and Europeans so they cause many problems to their governments upon returning to their countries,” Abdullahian said, adding that the ISIS terrorist organization has turned into an international crisis and a danger that threatens the world as a whole.
Abdullahian concluded by saying that ensuring the security of the Zionist entity is the main objective behind targeting and weakening the Syrian, Iraqi and Egyptian armed forces in the region.
