Damascus, SANA_ Cultural activities have not stopped even during the years of the terrorist war, so it is natural that the victories of the Syrian army and steadfastness of people to be celebrated through a cultural festival that kicked off on Sunday evening under the motto: “Culture renews its victory.”
The 10-day event includes musical and lyrical activities, as well as recitals by singers from Syria and Lebanon.
The opening ceremony of the festival included honoring a group of creative figures of Syrian art and culture.
In his speech, the Minister of Culture, Mohammad al-Ahmad, highlighted the recovery of Syrian culture, reaffirming that culture is what makes man love knowledge, goodness, truth and the beauty.
