Monday weather forecast: Temperatures around average, showers expected  

Damascus, SANA –Temperatures will remain around average or slightly lower than average as the country is affected by a weak low air pressure coming from the northeast and accompanied by south western air currents in the upper air layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be partly cloudy in general with opportunity for local showers especially over al-Jazeera region.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly with a light and moderate speed, and it will become active over coastal mountains while sea waves will be low to medium in height.

Expected temperatures for Monday in some main Syrian cities will be as follows:

Damascus 14/4, Daraa 16/6 Homs 13/4, Lattakia 19/11, Aleppo 12/3 and Deir Ezzor 15/6.
