German delegation visits Maaloula and Saidnaya

Damascus Countryside, SANA – The German parliamentary delegation headed by MP Frank Pasemann which is currently visiting Syria on Friday visited the towns of Maaloula and Saidnaya in Damascus Countryside.

The delegation visited Mar Sarkis and Bacchus Monastery and Mar Takla Monastery, witnessing the damage done to these two monasteries by terrorists, in addition to visiting the Convent of Lady of Saidnaya.

In a statement to SANA, Pasemann said that his party, Alternative for Germany (AfD), is against the German government’s approach towards Syria, and that the delegation’s visit seeks to relay the truth about what is happening in Syria to the German Bundestag, mass media, and public opinion.
