Damascus, SANA-Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi affirmed that an exit route from the crisis in Syria must be through inter-Syrian national dialogue.
His remarks came during a meeting he held with a delegation from the Commission for Defending Syria in Sweden.
The minister reaffirmed, during the meeting, that a political solution in Syria “will by no means be at the expense of fighting terrorism,” stressing that armed terrorist organizations will be barred from the political solution.
He put down the current state of affairs in Syria to a scheme that seeks to undermine its resistant path and pivotal role in service of Israel.
The Syrians, despite enormous odds, are more determined than ever to fight terrorism and support their army for Syria to return safe and stable as it was before, said the minster.
He underlined the role of Syrian expats in supporting their homeland by conveying the true image about the situation in their country.
Chairman of the Commission for Defending Syria in Sweden George Mkadissi Elias said the Commission, since the start of events in Syria, has been gathering aid and medical aid and sending it to Syria.
He said the visit comes to show solidarity with the Syrian people and to provide the Swedish people with perspective on the ongoing situation in Syria.
The delegation visiting Syria is comprised of businessmen, employees, activists, writers and engineers from the Syrian community in Sweden.
