Syria and Belarus sign seven cooperation documents

Damascus, SANA – Syria and Belarus on Friday signed seven documents on enhancing cooperation in the fields of investment, media, higher education, agriculture, and health.

This came at the conclusion of the Joint Committee for Commercial, Economic, and Technical Cooperation which was held at the Sheraton Hotel on the sideline of the 61st Damascus International Fair.

The first document is an MoU between the Syrian General Establishment and Foreign Trade and the Belarusian National Centre for Marketing and Price Stud, and the second is an MoU between the General Organization of Radio and TV and the National State Television and Radio Company of Belarus, while the third is an MoU between the Ministry of Higher Education and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and the fourth is an MoU between the Syrian Investment Agency and the National Agency of Investment and Privatization.

The fifth and sixth documents are the executive programs for technical and scientific cooperation in the field of agriculture and animal health between the Syrian Ministry of Agriculture and the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture, and the seventh is the executive protocol of the roadmap for the agreement between the Syrian Health Ministry and its Belarusian counterpart for the production and exchange of medicine and medical equipment.
