Moscow, SANA- Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russian –British talks were held in Moscow on the situation in the Middle East with a focus on Syria and the issue of combating terrorism.

Russian President’s Special Envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin , and British Prime Minister’s International Affairs Adviser and Deputy National Security Adviser Christian Turner CMG participated in the talks, which were held on Wednesday , the Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
