Rome, SANA- A number of Syrian plastic artists are participating in the Italian exhibition ” Venice Biennale”.
The Syrian pavilion at the exhibition entitled “Syrian Civilization Still Exist”.
The Syrian artists, including Director of the Fine Arts at the Ministry of Culture Imad Eddin Kasahot, Saad Yaken, Abdullah Abu Asali, Ibrahim al-Hamid and Saed Saloum are participating in the exhibition alongside the participation of artists from various countries in the world.
The Syrian participating artworks showcased the variety of style and beauty of the plastic art under the terrorist war, which Syria is exposed to, and the arts of the country’s ancient and contemporary civilizations.
Kasahot pointed out in a press statement to the importance of Syria’s participation in the Venice Biennale as part of the cultural communication between Syria , and the countries of the world.
The organizers of Venice Biennale affirmed the importance of the continued participation of Syria in this cultural event, voicing the desire of a number of Italian artists to display their artworks in Syria soon.
The Venice Biennale was founded in 1895 and it is one of the world’s oldest and cultural exhibitions.
