Syria and Iraq discuss reopening border crossings

Baghdad, SANA – Syria and Iraq discussed ongoing preparations to reopen al-Bukamal-Husseibeh border crossing, during a meeting on Thursday.

The meeting took place between Syria’s Ambassador in Baghdad Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah and Iraqi Assistant Chief of Staff, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lt. Gen. Abdul Amir Yarallah.

In addition to discussing the reopening of the crossing, both sides also discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations and joint coordination between Syria and Iraq.
