Army continues to advance in Badiya desert, inflicting heavy losses upon Daesh

Sweida, SANA – Syrian Arab Army units continued to advance in their operations against Daesh (ISIS) terrorists in the Badiya desert.

SANA’s correspondent said that army units carried out precise concentrated operations targeting Daesh hideouts in the far northeastern part of Sweida province in the direction of the Badiya desert, inflicting heavy losses against the terrorist organization.

The correspondent said that as a result of the operations, the army managed to reach the Sheikh Hussein Tomb area in the province where they are establishing positions to continue advancing and end the presence of the terror organization in the nearby areas.
