Damascus, SANA – The Syrian Arab Airlines (Syrian Air) has obtained IOSA certificate renewal (The IATA Operational Safety Audit) after the inspection procedures conducted by the international organizations.
Director of the Syrian Arab Airlines Talal Abdul Karim pointed out in a statement on Monday to the intensive efforts being exerted to maintain this result through developing the work , rehabilitating and training pilots and crews, and working to achieve the highest standards of quality and safety.
For his part, Head of the Safety Office Saad Abdul-Mohsen said that the safety team is determined to cooperate and coordinate with all departments and international organizations and airlines to periodically assess the work and supervise the safety of operations and various activities and to improve efficiency to maintain the highest levels and standards of quality and safety in the Syrian Arab Airlines.
The Syrian Arab Airlines is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) which is responsible for regulating the passengers’ travel in the world. IATA has established and developed the Operational Safety Audit for the member companies under the name of IOSA according to the criteria set by the IATA.
