Tehran, SANA – Special Assistant to the Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council for International Affairs, Hussein Amir Abdullahian, stressed the need to reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
In an interview with the Iranian Mehr News Agency Saturday, Abdullahian said that a political solution to the crisis in Syria cannot be found as long as the US continues to put hurdles and obstacles which hinder the Syrian talks in Geneva, Astana or Sochi.
He stressed Iran’s firm position in support of the Palestinian resistance against the threats posed by the Zionist entity, which in turn threatens Iran and regional security.
