Beirut, SANA- Lebanese Hezbollah party strongly condemned the continued Israeli attacks on Syria and its military and civilian facilities.

In statement on Saturday, Hezbollah hailed the Syrian Arab Army’s alertness which enabled it to confront the Israeli aggression and shoot down an F-16 jet which marks the beginning of a new strategic phase that puts an end to the violation of Syrian airspace and territories.

Hezbollah denounced the enemy’s blatant support to terrorism, emphasizing that today’s developments mean the fall of ancient equations.

The statement stressed Hezbollah firm and strong stance by the side of the Syrian people in defending their territory, sovereignty and legitimate rights.
