Syrian, Egyptian Journalists agree on enhancing cooperation

Cairo, SANA- Chairman of the Syrian Journalists Union, Moussa Abdelnour, and Chairman of the Journalists’ Syndicate in Egypt, Abdul Mohsen Salameh, agreed on preparing a memo of understanding on means of enhancing cooperation and communication between the Syrian and Egyptian journalists.

During their meeting in Cairo on Saturday, The two sides expressed desire for holding the upcoming meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the Arab Journalists Federation and its General-Secretariat in Damascus next May.

“There is an aspiration to consolidate cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries in journalism domain,” Abdulnour said.

In turn Salameh said that when the homeland is in danger all must be united in the face of this danger, wishing that Syria would emerge out victorious from its crisis.
