Health cooperation between Syria and Lebanon discussed

Damascus, SANA – The Syrian medicine is produced according to the best international standards and it covers most of the local market need, Health Minister Nizar Yazigi said on Thursday.

During a meeting with the Lebanese Ambassador in Damascus Saad Zakhia, Yazigi expressed Syria’s readiness to set a prospective vision for health cooperation with Lebanon in a way that covers the need of the two countries and takes into account the local laws governing the importation of medicine.

Zakhia, in turn, saw that the historic relations between the two countries push forwards the means of cooperation in several domains, particularly the health sector.
