Damascus, SANA- Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that temperatures will drop, yet they will remain from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy and rainy and the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes over the coastal areas.
Westerly wind will be active and its speed will reach 50 km per hour, and the wind will be southerly to southwesterly with a moderate speed while the sea waves will be medium in height.
Over the past 24 hours, different amounts have been registered in several Syrian provinces as follows: Damascus Countryside 2.5 mm, Quneitra 18 mm, Daraa 2 mm, Hama 17 mm, Tartous 22mm and Lattakia 38mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/6, Daraa 12/5, Homs 16/4, Lattakia 18/10, Aleppo 12/2 and Deir Ezzor 20/6.
