“Made in Syria” Exhibition opened in Baghdad

Baghdad, SANA- Activities of “Made in Syria” Exhibition kicked off in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Sunday with the participation of 193 companies specialized in engineering, health, food and textile industries.

Head of the Syrian Exporters Federation, Mohammad al-Sawah, in a statement on Saturday, expected that the 20-day exhibition would witness huge turnout.

“About 500 tons of Syrian goods were initially shipped to the exhibition under full readiness to complete the shipment according to the sale since the exhibition depends on direct sale,” al-Sawah added.

The exhibition aimed at circulation the Syrian goods in Iraq and enhancing trade exchange between the two countries, particularly in light of the recovery phase which the Syrian economy is witnessing.
