Monday weather forecast: Temperatures above average, skies clear

Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will gradually rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the weather will be relatively hot and the skies will be clear while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia desert areas.

The wind will be changeable to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

Tomorrow, the temperatures will continue to rise to become from 4 to 6 degrees above average and the weather will be hot and the skies clear while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badyia areas.

The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/20, Daraa 37/21, Homs 37/22, Lattakia 34/24, Aleppo 39/23 and Deir Ezzor 44/24.
