Damascus, SANA – Temperatures remain around average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied with low pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, with a chance of rain showers over the coastal heights, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia “desert” areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 36/19, Daraa 35/18, Homs 32/20, Lattakia 32/23, Aleppo 36/20 and Deir Ezzor 42/23.
