Hama, SANA – The Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) branch in Hama distributed food aid to displaced families from towns and villages in the northern and eastern countryside of province due to terrorist acts.
Head of the branch, Hayyan Mustafa, told SANA that 378 food packages were distributed in the towns of Hama’s northern countryside and 434 other packages were distributed among displaced families in Qamhana town.
He pointed out that the SARC, in cooperation with a number of humanitarian organizations and NGOs, has equipped temporary accommodation centers to receive the displaced persons who escaped from ISIS terrorists in the province of Raqqa, noting that during the next week food and relief assistance will be distributed to those persons.
During the past few weeks, a number of families who fled from the city of Raqqa arrived to Hama city through the humanitarian crossings opened by the Syrian Arab Army to secure the exit of people from Raqqa city.
