Syrian athlete gains gold medal in Asian Youth Athletics Championship in Thailand

Bangkok, SANA – The Syrian athlete Loris Danoun got the golden medal for 800 m race at the Asian Youth Athletics Championship currently held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Danoun ranked first in the competition, finishing the race in 2 minutes and 14 seconds.

It’s worth mentioning that Danoun participated in the Army Commander Cup in Triathlon held in Beirut at the beginning of current month in which she, along with her colleagues Natali Hanoun and Ranim Hassan, took the first place in relay race.
