Doha, SANA – Syrian Al-Wahda football team drew 1-1 with Iraq’s Air Force Club (al-Quwa al-Jawiya) in a match held in Doha within the fourth round of the 2017 AFC Cup Group B.
Al-Wahdah football team plays in Group B which also includes the Lebanese al-Safaa and the Bahraini al-Hidd football teams.
The Syrian football player Khaled al-Mobayed scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute from inside the penalty area.
In the 88th minute, the Iraqi football player Haitham Kazem Taher scored the equalizing goal.
Al-Wahda continued to lead Group B with 8 point, followed by the Iraqi al-Quwa al-Jawiya with 6 points. The Bahraini al-Hidd beat the Lebanese al-Safaa 2-0 , securing 6 points while al-Safaa came in the bottom of the group.
