Cabinet allocates nearly SYP 20 billion for reconstruction and re-production

Damascus, SANA- Files of supporting the production process and rehabilitating areas in western Raqqa and East of Aleppo were on the table of discussions at a Cabinet weekly session held on Tuesday and chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis.

The cabinet agreed to grant the Military Housing Establishment an amount of SYP 3,9 billion as an advance payment from the treasury to repair Aleppo’s Cement Factory to enhance the Cement available in the markets.

It also decided to allocate areas, liberated from terrorism, in the villages of east Aleppo and west Raqqa an amount of SYP 11 billion to rehabilitate infrastructure in all sectors including the administrative departments , water, electricity, communications, Education, agriculture and the water projects, paving the way for the return of citizens to their homes.

Later, the Cabinet discussed several issues related to service and development process, listening from ministers to their plans and projects which come in the interest of citizens.
