Damascus, SANA-Energy Minister Mohammed al-Bashir discussed Thursday with the Chargé d’affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Damascus, Elnur Shahhüseynov, ways to enhance cooperation between Syria and Azerbaijan in various energy fields.
The meeting discussed prospects for developing economic relations, especially in the fields of electricity and renewable energy, in addition to exchanging technical expertise and studying joint investment opportunities.
Minister al-Bashir emphasized Syria’s readiness to provide facilities for Azerbaijani projects, while Shahhüseynov expressed his country’s desire to expand cooperation due to the great potential of the two countries in this sector.
