President al-Sharaa: Syrian youth are the solid foundation for Syria's reconstruction project

Damascus, SANA – In a dialogue session bringing together President Ahmad al-Sharaa, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Latifa al-Droubi, with a group of university and high school students, His Excellency emphasized the central and pivotal role the rising generation plays in rebuilding Syria and shaping its future.

President al-Sharaa began by asserting that Syrian youth today are the solid foundation upon which Syria’s reconstruction project rests.

He stressed that the energy, awareness, and innovative capacity of the new generation place a great responsibility on their shoulders in the process of building and change across various sectors.

Discussing Syria’s future, President al-Sharaa highlighted the importance of formulating a distinctive Syrian model led by conscious youth that fulfills the aspirations of Syrians.

He clarified that this desired model must be the fruit of active youth participation in building state institutions and leading development and reform initiatives.

In the context of empowering youth scientifically and professionally, President al-Sharaa spoke about both domestic scholarships and international educational missions. These initiatives aim to build distinguished academic and professional cadres capable of transferring knowledge and expertise and utilizing them in service of the Syrian model.

The President affirmed that the government’s efforts are not merely educational support but rather a strategic investment in human capital. This investment contributes to shaping a new generation of creative youth who believe in a new Syria.
