Higher Education Ministry allows dropped out students due to revolution to take 2nd semester, supplementary exams

Damascus, SANA- Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry has issued a decision allowing dropped out students due to revolution breakout since 2011, to take second-semester exams and supplementary exams for the academic year 2024-2025.

“According to the Decision No. 95, issued on December 26th, the students who have submitted requests to return to university, are permitted to take their exams at faculties they were previously enrolled”, the ministry said to SANA in a statement.

The statement added that this is conditional a written pledge submitted by the student stating his correct university status and the subjects he holds and which he wishes to apply for.

The ministry added that no official documents regarding the students’ academic status will be issued until granting the approval for their return in addition to providing justifications for their absence.
