Hama, Oct. 14 (SANA) Four Road Security personnel were martyred when unidentified assailants attacked two patrols on the Salamiya-Athriya road in the Hama countryside, Interior Ministry spokesperson Nour al-Din al-Baba said.
“Deeply saddened, we mourn the martyrdom of four of our fellow Road Security personnel following attacks on two patrols in the Hama countryside,” al-Baba said.
He said the crime would not deter the ministry from continuing to pursue those responsible and bring them to justice, but would strengthen its resolve to fulfill its duty to maintain public security and protect lives.
The Internal Security Forces said they would continue pursuing all those involved in the attack and take legal action against them.
