Riyadh, SANA- A Syrian delegation from the Ministry of Communications and Technology, headed by Minister Abdul Salam Haykal, visited the headquarters of Saudi company Elm, a leader in digital solutions and smart transformation services, to explore opportunities for joint cooperation.
According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, the meeting reviewed the company’s experience in digitizing government services, managing digital identity, cybersecurity solutions, and integrated open-data systems.
The two sides discussed prospects for collaboration in digital transformation, government transparency, service automation, and linking national databases.
Minister Haykal praised the company’s expertise in building digital platforms in partnership with Saudi government institutions, stressing that Syria is working to establish a national digital infrastructure informed by successful regional experiences.
For their part, Elm officials expressed readiness to share expertise and explore opportunities for technical and advisory cooperation with Syria.
