London, SANA – Britain welcomed the report issued by the UN Commission of Inquiry concerning the events took place in the Syria’s coastal area, hailing the Syrian government’s support for the commission’s performance.
“Good to see the UN Commission of Inquiry on Syria’s report on the horrific coastal violence. The findings, which align to those of the National Independent Commission, provide clear recommendations to ensure accountability and protections for all Syrians,” British Special Envoy to Syria Anne Snow tweeted today.
“I also welcome the Syrian Government’s support for the work of the commission and its commitment to the recommendations set out in the report. The UK stands ready to support implementation”, Snow said.
