Aleppo, SANA- The first batch of Qatari aid arrived at Aleppo International Airport, Saturday, to support the efforts that The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management have been exerted in battling the forest fires in Latakia countryside for the 10th days.
The aid batch included three aircraft out of six carrying land and air aid, including two helicopters affiliated to the Qatari Ministry of Defense’s air force dedicated to firefighting operations, as well as a number of fire engines, ambulances, and logistical support equipment, The Syrian General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said in a statement.
