Chargé d’Affaires of Turkish Embassy in Damascus affirms his country’s support to new S

Chargé d’Affaires of Turkish Embassy in Damascus affirms his country’s support to new S

Damascus, SANA -Chargé d’Affairs of the Turkish Embassy in Damascus, Ambassador Burhan Koroglu, affirmed his country’s support for the new Syria, noting the deep economic rapprochement between the two countries.

 “We are now in a new phase in Syria’s history- New Syria- which needs development in all fields, such as reconstruction and industries, and Turkey, as a neighboring and sisterly country to Syria, wants to contribute to the new launch of this country, and supports the Syrian brothers to develop these industries together” Koroglu said in a statement to Rudaw Media Network.

According to Koroglu’s statement, the increase in exports and imports between Turkey and Syria has been approximately 60 percent since December 8, 2024.
