Doha, SANA – Qatar Airways announced on Monday the full resumption of flights to Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Jordan following the lifting of airspace restrictions in the region.
“ Qatar Airways will resumes its operational flights to Syria as of June 6th, “ Qatar News Agency quoted the Qatari Airlines as saying in a statement, adding it will also resume flights to five destinations in Iraq as of today.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry announced a temporary airspace closure on Monday, April 23, just hours before Iran launched missile strikes targeting Al-Udeid Air Base, which hosts American military forces.
