Flights of Syrian pilgrims on Turkish Airlines diverted from Damascus to Gaziantep

Damascus, SANA- Ministry of Religious Endowments announced Sunday that four flights on the Turkish Airlines carrying Syrian pilgrims on 16th and 17th of June will be diverted from Damascus airport to Gaziantep airport, due to the current developments in the region.

The Hajj and Umrah Directorate at the Ministry of Religious Endowments said in a statement on its Telegram channel that after coordination with the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkey, it was decided to divert flights No. TK5253 and TK5251 TK5315 and TK5317 carrying Syrian pilgrims to Gaziantep airport instead of Damascus airport in order to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
