Daraa, SANA – An Internal Security Forces member was injured on Thursday when a security patrol was ambushed by an outlaw group in the Jaleen housing complex in the western Daraa countryside.
The Internal Security Directorate in Daraa said in a statement that the patrol had headed to the area following a report of the presence of an armed group. Upon arrival, the patrol was directly fired upon, resulting in the injury.
The Directorate explained that it had dispatched security reinforcements to the area to apprehend those involved in the attack on the patrol.
