“Fly Cham” launches its first flights from Damascus International Airport to Abu Dhabi

“Fly Cham” launches its first flights from Damascus International Airport to Abu Dhabi

Damascus, SANA – “Fly Cham” Airlines commenced its inaugural flights on Wednesday from Damascus International Airport to Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

“Fly Cham” launches its first flights from Damascus International Airport to Abu DhabiAccording to Hamdi Khalaf, the company’s commercial director, “Fly Cham marks the first Emirati investment to begin operations.”

The airline currently has a fleet of four aircraft, with aspirations to grow it to 15 by the end of this year” he noted.

Khalaf mentioned that the company has initiated two flights today to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, with future plans to operate flights to Saudi Arabia and Europe.

Engineer Adeeb Asaad, the Deputy Director of Damascus International Airport, affirmed that “Fly Cham is a newly formed national airline, and its commencement is timed perfectly considering the rising demand for travel to and from Syria.”

The company’s sales manager, Burhan Berqdar, announced that there will be nine flights each week connecting Damascus and Sharjah, along with two additional flights weekly between Damascus and Abu Dhabi, four flights operating between Damascus and Dubai, and four flights each week from Aleppo to Sharjah.

“The company will further provide two daily flights to Kuwait and two flights to the Sultanate of Oman” Berqdar added.
